"Free Yourself no.2" Original Oil Painting

I wanted to repaint my most important and meaningful paintings I've ever made, but then I thought: how about making another version?

As you can see it differs from the previous one not only because of the poses but also with colour scheme. The first painting was my first one when I opened up about how I feel. I'll never forget how amazing it felt to be able to connect with so many people just by talking about my artwork. I was lost, anxious. It was a big relief. After that, I started to make more works like this. Most of them were based on my beloved "Black Swan", most of them had dark blue colour scheme. I guess we can call it my "blue period" 😅.

Is this new painting the end of it? I don't know. Maybe yes... maybe no... but I know one thing. I want this to be the beginning of my "colorful period". I want to try more color schemes. I want to try more styles. I'm not saying I won't create merged concepts. I will (I even have one commission like this ;) ) but I don't want to limit myself to just one thing: dark, mostly sad paintings.

I will continue to share my story, I'm so grateful that I can do it. I want to say thank you to y'all who have been supporting me for such long time now. I hope you'll still keep me company on my journey 😊
